The Speed-Master ® 500 offers Flexon high performance at a great value. The Speed-Master 500 is ideal for doorways requiring a simple barrier with no added frills and is recommended for the following applications:
- Interior door openings having no wind or negative pressure
- Suitable for areas currently serviced by strip doors or conventional traffic doors
- Recommended for door sizes between 10' W x 12' W
- Puncture-resistant, 40 oz. reinforced black vinyl panel material
- Rugged ½ HP direct-drive 90 degree mount electric motor, offered with 1-year/unlimited cycle warranty
- NEMA 4x control box with solid state print board, hardwired and without plug.
- Full-width transparent PVC vision area
- Automatic panel reversing edge.
- Bottom aluminum profile with bend-away tabs.
- Low profile steel (painted gray) guide tracks for reduced clearance requirements.
- Full perimeter seals.
- Two panel reversing photocells.

The rugged 1/2 HP direct-drive motor is built to offer reliable performance, operating the door at a constant speed of up to 30 " per second without the use of tension springs or counterbalance assemblies.
Automatic Bend-away Feature
In the event of accidental impact, the Speed-Master 500 high speed industrial door is designed to "pop" out of its steel guide tracks to help prevent damage to the door panel and hinge profiles.
