The Speed-Master ® 2500 high speed industrial door is recommended for the following applications:
  • Universal for both interior and interior to exterior doorways
  • Recommended for door sizes between 16' W x maximum 300 sq. ft.
  • Rated for up to 360 operations per hour

The Speed-Master 2500 high speed industrial door includes the following standard features:

  • Bulldog XT panel material with full-width transparent PVC vision area.
  • 230v or 460v/3 phase/60 Hz 3 HP direct-drive electric motor with positive brake release for manual override operation.
  • NEMA 4 control box enclosure.
  • Pre-wired power cord with quick-disconnect coupler from motor to control box.
  • Operating speed of 32" per second up and down.
  • Panel reversing electric contact edge.
  • Bottom aluminum profile with impact breakaway tabs.
  • Patented interlocking anodized aluminum hinge profile sections.
  • Hinged structural steel guide tracks with full-height nylon brush seals and anti-friction strips. Tracks painted gray.
  • Horizontal top draft seal.
  • Two panel reversing photocells.

    Precise Information Processing for Greater Reliability

    The Speed-Master 2500 features a solid-state NEMA 4 3-function common box with an integral pre-programmed PLC unit to control the door's logic and timing function, ensuring precise information processing for greater reliability compared to most electro-mechanical control boxes.

    Reliable Performance

    The rugged 3 HP direct-drive motor is built to offer reliable performance at up to 360 cycles per hour. It operates the door at a constant speed of 32" per second without the use of tension springs or counterbalance assemblies.

    Easy-to-Read Diagnostics

    The Speed-Master 2500 features an LED diagnostic panel for ease of troubleshooting and service by in-house maintenance personnel.

    Bulldog XT Panel Material

    Our panel material is puncture- and tear-resistant, maintains its flexibility to -20 F, and is available in a choice of three attractive colors. For additional materials or colors, contact us.

    Automatic Breakaway Feature

    In the event of accidental impact, the Speed-Master 2500 high speed industrial door is designed to “pop” out of its guide tracks to help prevent damage to the door panel. This feature works in both directions of operation.
