The Speed-Master ® 1000 is ideal for control energy costs or securing critical plant environments and is recommended for the following applications:
- Interior or exterior door openings having little wind or negative pressure (Exterior doorways is Model 1050)
- Suitable for areas currently serviced by strip doors or conventional traffic doors
- Recommended for door sizes between 14' W x 14' H
- Rated for up to 360 cycles per hour under load
- Bulldog XT panel material with full-width transparent PVC vision area.
- 230v or 460v/3 phase/60 Hz 1-1/2 HP direct-drive electric motor with positive brake release for manual override operation.
- NEMA 4 control box enclosure.
- Pre-wired power cord with quick-disconnect coupler from motor to control box.
- Panel reversing electric contact edge.
- Operating speed of 36" per second up and down.
- Bottom aluminum profile with bend-away tabs.

Our sectional panel design utilizes a Bulldog XT material held in place and stabilized by the full-width hinged profiles, which act as built-in windbars and allow torn or damaged panels to be replaced without costly tools or downtime.

The rugged 1-1/2 HP direct-drive motor is built to offer reliable performance at up to 360 cycles per hour. It operates the door at a constant speed of 32" per second without the use of tension springs or counterbalance assemblies.

The Speed-Master 1000 features a solid-state NEMA 4 3-function common box with an integral pre-programmed PLC unit to control the door's logic and timing function, ensuring precise information processing for greater reliability compared to most electro-mechanical control boxes.

The Speed-Master 1000 features an LED diagnostic panel for ease of troubleshooting and service by in-house maintenance personnel.
Automatic Bend-away Feature
In the event of accidental impact, the Speed-Master 1000 high speed industrial door is designed to "pop" out of its guide tracks to help prevent damage to the door panel and hinge profiles.
